Jaime advises clients on a broad range of employment issues, with a focus on advising on the procedural requirements of disciplinary and performance matters, restructuring, and drafting appropriate terms and conditions of employment. She works with clients to resolve personal grievances and other employment disputes through negotiation, mediation and/or representation at the Employment Relations Authority and Employment Court.
Jaime appears on behalf of clients at Local Authority and Environment Court hearings. She advises clients on resource management issues, including resource consent applications, planning requirements and changes to district and regional plans, together with local government and Public Works Act issues. Prior to joining Harkness Henry, Jaime worked predominantly in the areas of residential and commercial property, employment law and private client matters for another Hamilton firm. While living in London, Jaime worked in investment property.
Jaime holds a law degree and a degree in social science majoring in political science.
