Katelyn is a solicitor in our private client team, which provides legal advice to a wide range of individuals, families, small businesses and charitable organisations.
Katelyn completed a bachelor of laws and a bachelor of social sciences at the University of Waikato and started at Harkness Henry as a legal secretary. Working at a law firm made her realise that she would like to practise law herself leading her to take up an opportunity with the Private Client team. She was admitted to the bar in December 2019.
She is particularly passionate about helping those who are inexperienced with the law and loves meeting people from all walks of life. Her focus is on assisting private individuals and other organisations in navigating the law and working out the best path for them.
Katelyn is currently a member of the Lawyers for Climate Change Action New Zealand and the New Zealand Animal Law Association.
Outside of the office, Katelyn enjoys making the most of beaches and the great outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
