Resource Management, Employment and Alcohol Licensing
William practices in resource management, alcohol licensing and employment law.
Prior to joining Harkness Henry, William worked for more than three years primarily in litigation, with extensive court appearance either as leading or junior counsel at different levels, including a high profile, lengthy and complex trial in Auckland High Court concerning a $54 million mortgage fraud. William also has experience in property and commercial law.
William has a strong academic background in law with a LLB (first class honours) from University of Waikato and a LLB from East China University of Political Science and Law.
William grew up in Shanghai, China. This equips him with a deep understanding of overseas culture, which is a valuable asset to his legal practice in New Zealand. William speaks fluent English and Mandarin.
