Anna Suckling

Anna specialises in alcohol licensing.  We act for a large number of clients throughout New Zealand who have various licenses – on, off, club and special events. Anna ensures that all of our clients’ licensing needs are met.  This includes advising and applying for new licences, preparing renewals, applying for manager’s certificates and advising on compliance.  With her previous experience as a Duty Manager, Anna is also able to provide on-site training to our clients to ensure that they are meeting all of their obligations under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.

Anna also works closely with our litigation specialists if applications are opposed. She helps to prepare evidence, submissions and assists at DLC and ARLA hearings.

After more than 10 years working in law firms in the UK and Auckland, Anna spent several years in client relationship and account management roles, before returning to the legal field, joining the team at Harkness Henry in early 2020.
