Isabel is a Law Clerk in the Environmental team, specialising across a wide range of matters, including environmental, planning, resource management, local government, property, and public works matters.
She assists in providing advice to a range of clients, including local authorities, developers, infrastructure providers, businesses, farmers, community groups, body corporates, trusts, and private clients across a wide range of matters. Areas in which she assists include:
- Resource consent matters, including applications, submissions, hearings, objections, and notification processes
- Resource management compliance and enforcement matters
- Plan change processes
- Subdivision matters
- Local government and central government matters, including submissions on policies, plans, and legislation
- Public Works Act matters
- Building Act matters
- Property and land rights matters, including easements, covenants, consent notices, licences to occupy, encroachments, and other interests affecting land
- Body corporate and unit title matters
- Neighbour disputes
- Council prosecutions
Isabel grew up in a small rural community in the Waikato. Having attended rural schools focused on the environment and lived surrounded by farms and businesses within the agricultural sector, she brings a practical understanding of the environmental matters that affect clients
